About Shelby Wagner:
Shelby Wagner is a professional who cares. She has taught thousands of children to sing and hundreds to play the piano. She has directed and /or accompanied countless church choirs of all ages in a variety of worship services and special seasonal concert programs. Shelby currently plays four-hand, one keyboard duets with a fellow music teacher at community events, assisted living facilities and nursing homes. Never one for “letting the grass grow under her feet,” she has a new career at 78 as author, public speaker and marketer for her books.
Wagner was born on a farm in Arkansas, grew up and married in Michigan where she and her husband raised two children. She earned two bachelor degrees (a BA and BMus) from Oakland University, Rochester, MI; and a Master’s from MSU, East Lansing, MI. Her biography can be found in The Marquis Who’s Who in the Midwest, 1990/1991 Edition. Currently she is a member of the Writers’ Den in Sturgis, MI, and the Non-fiction Author’s Association.
